Chang Gewog has a land area of about 194 sq. km with elevation ranging from 2,320 meters to 4278 meters above sea level.The gewog has fallen under the jurisdiction of Thimphu municipality except for a few villages at the southern gewog boundary. Considering this, only a few programs have been planned for the Ninth Plan.
