The application of Information Technology in Bhutan has picked up speed with the launch of internet services in Bhutan during the celebration of the silver jubilee Coronation of our 4th king, His Majesty Jigme Singye Wangchuck and today it is proving to be an integral part of our daily lives. In a globalized environment, we need to use Information Technology to gain advantages in trade, services and many other applications. We cannot prevail otherwise.
I welcome you all to the Thimphu Dzongkhag webpage. The webpage has information on the Dzongkhag and its 8 gewogs, online forms which can be downloaded, latest news of the Dzongkhag, events and announcements and last but not the least the tender document.
The main aim of the webpage is to provide easy access to all information and services to the public regarding the Dzongkhag. There is also the Feedback tab and you are welcome to send any type so as to improve the quality of our webpage.
